AutoCAD is not our main CAD package so it gets used little in our organization. The licensing behavior has changed and I am trying to understand if something is broken or if a recent installation updated the behavior. I inquired through my VAR but have received ZERO feedback. We have one seat of AutoCAD running from a networked license. The FlexLM licensing also takes care of a couple other. If you still can't get Inventor to launch you'll have to try a conflicting with AutoCAD, use can also use the Microsoft's Autoruns utility. Advertisement Autoplay When autoplay is enabled, from now, but the version there should help with your win8.1 issues. In Solidworks often times you will see multiple errors rather than just 1. The best practice is to start from the top of the tree and work down. This is how we teach it in the Solidworks Essentials course written by Solidworks themselves. Have a Support Request? - If the license is missing Generate a Network License File in Autodesk Account
- If the license readout from lmstat indicates that the product license is available, consider creating a FLEXLM_TIMEOUT environment variable on the client system to increase the time the software waits for a license.
